O CHRIST WORSHIPPER!

A poem by Ibn Qayyim Al Jawziyyah

O Christ-worshippers! We want an answer to our question [from your wise ones],

If the Lord was murdered by some people’s act, what kind of god is this?

We wonder! Was He pleased by what they did to Him?

If yes, blessed be they, they achieved His pleasure,

But if He was discontented, this means their power had subjugated Him!

Was the whole entity left without a Sustainer, so who answered the prayers?

Were the heavens vacated, when He laid under the ground somewhere?

Were all the worlds left without a God, to manage while His hands were nailed?

Why did not the angels help Him, when they heard him while he wailed?

How could the rods stand to bear the True Lord when He was fastened,

How could the irons reached Him and [had] His body pinned?

How could His enemies’ hands reach Him and slap His rear,

And was Christ revived by himself, or was the Reviver another god?

What a sight it was, a grave that enclosed a god,

Stranger still is the belly that confined Him!

He stayed there for nine months in utter darkness, fed by blood!

Then he got out of the womb as a small baby,

Weak and gasping to be breast-fed!

He ate and drank, and did what that naturally resulted,

Is this [what you call] a god?

High Exalted be Allah above the lies of Christians,

All of them will be held accountable for their libels!

O Cross-worshippers! For what reason is this exalted and blame [is cast upon those] who reject it?

Is it not logical to break and burn it, along with the one who innovated it?

Since the Lord was crucified on it, and his hands were fastened to it?

That is really a cursed cross to carry,

So discard it, do not kiss it!

The Lord was abused on it, and you adore it?

So [it is clear that] you are one of His enemies!

If you extol it because it carried the Lord of the Worlds,

Why don’t you prostrate yourself and worship graves,

Since the grave contained your god in it?

So Christ-worshipper, open your eyes,

This is what the matter is all about.

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
The Bible being an acclaimed word of God contains some words of God, some words of men, some ‘tortoise and dog’ story or tales, some words of prophets, alot words of unknown authors, alot of fables, uncountable and uncomprehendable errors in all the aforementioned words irrespective of whom they are attributed to. This is due to the disappearance of the injeel and Torah.
(Please read all text carefully feel free to add or subtract with genuine reason. Feel free to formally publish it on any media in any form I’ll appreciate if the original author name is included in your publication but not compulsory anyway.)
Some remnant of words of God in the Bible includes the book of Deuteronomy 28 from verse one 1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. 3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. 4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. 5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. 6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. 7 The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. 8 The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. 9 The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as heath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways. 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee. 11 And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee. 12 The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. 13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: 14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them. It is a point to note that the merciful God is also a just God he promised to bless those who hearkens diligently to his words and also promised to punish those who disobey so that no one will dare disobey in this world. loving God means fearing him and fearing him means obeying him like you are seeing him, if a child loves his father he will fear him by obeying him even in his absence. So if anyone truly love and fear God he will obey him if not, he will face the consequences according to the Bible in the book of Deuteronomy 28 from verse 15 15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: 16 Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field. 17 Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store. 18 Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. 19 Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out. 20 The Lord shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me. 21 The Lord shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it. 22 The Lord shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish. 23 And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron. 24 The Lord shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed. 25 The Lord shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. 26 And thy carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away. 27 The Lord will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed. 28 The Lord shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart: 29 And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee. 30 Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof. 31 Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them. 32 Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand. 33 The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway: 34 So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. 35 The Lord shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head. 36 The Lord shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone. 37 And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the Lord shall lead thee. 38 Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it. 39 Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them. 40 Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit. 41 Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity. 42 All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume. 43 The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low. 44 He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail. 45 Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee: 46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever. 47 Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; 48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. 49 The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; 50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young to mention but few
If you’ll permit me to summarize and simplify the law, I will categorize it as thus
    1. Our duties to God.
    2. Worship.
    3. Our duties to fellow humans. .
    OUR DUTIES TO GOD
Our primary duty to God is to believe in him, but how? Believe in his real personality. How?
Believe in his Prophets. What does his prophets say concerning him
According to Deuteronomy 6 verse 4 Moses a prophet of God says 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
Jesus also said in the book of Mark 12 verse 29 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: confirming what was said before him. In the revelation given to Muhammad (pbuh) Quran 37 verse 4 Indeed, your God is One, Inna ilahakum lawahidun
    إِنَّ إِلَهَكُمْ لَوَاحِدٌ
And also in Quran 18 verse 110 Say, “I am only a man like you, to whom has been revealed that your god is one God. So whoever would hope for the meeting with his Lord – let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone.”
Qul innama ana basharun mithlukum yooha ilayya annama ilahukum ilahun wahidun faman kana yarjoo liqaa rabbihi falya’mal ‘amalan salihan wala yushrik bi’ibadati rabbihi ahadan
also confirming what have been said before him
    2. WORSHIP
The only one God that is, is the only one worthy of our worship as stated in the book of exodus 34 verse 14 _*14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: and also in Psalm 81 verse 9 9 There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.
Here is an authoritative statement concerning the worship of another god Deuteronomy 8 verse 19 19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the Lord thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish. also in the book of Mark 4 verse 10 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Jesus said this also confirming what was written before him and also it was revealed to Mohammed(pbuh) in the Quran chapter 2 verse 163 And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Wa-ilahukum ilahun wahidun la ilaha illa huwa alrrahmanu alrraheemu
    وَإِلَـهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ لاَّ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ
    HOW SHOULD WE WORSHIP
The only accepted way of worship is by bowing with face to the ground.
In the book of exodus 34 verse 8 8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped. also in the book of Number 20 verse 6
6 And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them.
In the book of Joshua 5 verse 14 14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
Even Jesus acknowledged that bowing with face to the ground is called worship when he was tempted by the devil in the book of Luke 4 verse 8 8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
He also practiced it in the book of Mathew 26 verse 39 39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
More convincingly the congregational prayer observed by Muslim is in the bible just as they usually observed it. In the book of Nehemiah 8 verse 4 4 And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam. 5 And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up: 6 And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground. These practice confirms the verse of the Quran.
Quran 22 verse 77 O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good – that you may succeed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS ACT OF WORSHIP
    1. Why should it be in a foreign language why not my native language.
    2. Why do I have to face a particular direction isn’t God everywhere?
    3. Why do I have to wash my hands, feet and face before worship
    1. The use of one language in worshipping God is for uniformity, it makes it possible for anybody from anywhere to worship together with any group of people from any part of the world without a language barrier. This a fulfillment of the prophecy in the book of Zephaniah 3 verse 9 9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent. also in the Quran 26 verse 195-197 In a clear Arabic language.

    2. Before God shifted his temple from Jerusalem to Arabia according to the book of Isaiah 3 verse 8 8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of his glory. John 4 verse 21 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. It is a custom for those who believe to worship or pray facing the temple in Jerusalem according to Daniel 6 verse 10 10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. The he advent of a new Jerusalem explains the need for new direction during worship
Galatia 4 verse 22-25 declared the new Jerusalem 22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. 24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. 25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
    3. Washing of hands, feet and face is a tradition from the old times from Moses to last prophet. In the book of Exodus 30 verse 17-19 17 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 18 Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein. 19 For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat: and also in the book of John 3 verse 5-8 5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. 6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? 7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. 8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. 9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. Peter ignorantly shifted ablution to a state of perfection before being made perfect for Muhammad in the Quran 5 verse 6 O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves. But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands with it. Allah does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful.

    3. OUR DUTIES TO OTHERS
The other parts of the law state that thou shall not kill. God have no relation among us that we might kill nor does he have wives among us that we might commit adultery with, when he gave the law thou shall not commit adultery lease we say he made the law to protect them. This laws and others all amount to love from man to all that surrounds him. No man will kill whom he loves nor will he wants for him what he reject for himself.
💠God commanded fasting in the Bible Jeremiah 36 verse 9 9 And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the Lord to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem. and so did he in the Quran 2 verse 183 O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous.

The intention is very clear in the Quranic verse _’that you may become righteous’_ There’s no family of God known that we might say we should be righteous to, hence we will be righteous to ourselves.
💠 God commanded giving arms to the poor in the book of Mark 12 verse 41 41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. also in several places in the Quran such as Quran 2 verse 177 Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.

It’s made clear in that verse that giving arms is a means of being righteous.
    💠 About pilgrimage
Worship on mountains was ordained by God to his prophets from ages long according to the book of Isaiah 27 verse 13 13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem. and also Isaiah 2 verses 1-4 1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. 2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. In the following verses the people of those times worship on mountains as ordained by God in Jerusalem but due to the rebellious act of the Israelites they lost the glory to another nation according to 1samuel 4 verses 21-22 21 And she named the child I-chabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father in law and her husband. 22 And she said, The glory is departed from Israel: for the ark of God is taken. even Jesus nullify Jerusalem as the site of worship in the book of John 4 verse 21 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
And the new Jerusalem is clearly stated in Galatia 4 verse 25 25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
THESE ARE THE LAWS DECREE BY GOD THE OWNER OF YOU, THE WORLD YOU LIVE IN AND WHERE YOU WILL RETURN.
